2017

For the second year running we came first in the Junior Rock Challenge event at the Sands Centre Carlisle.

All 68 children involved from year 3-6 worked exceptionally hard in their after school club with Mrs Hill and Miss Dover to learn
the 8 minute dance and drama routine.

They certainly blew everyone away on the night with their fantastic performance.

This year's theme was called, 'Where memories live on.'

This theme linked closely with the Day of the Dead work that children have recently researched in their Spanish lessons.
The performance reflects on this tradition.

It allows us to cherish those who pass away and allow their memories to be forever kept alive in our hearts.

On the night we won 15 awards in total:

bullet Award of excellence for drama
bullet Award of excellence for concept
bullet Award of excellence for choreography
bullet Award of excellence for visual enhancement
bullet Award of excellence for video performance
bullet Award of excellence for costuming of character
