The school PTA is invaluable in providing support to the children and the school, whether through fund raising, supervision on educational visits or another pair of hands to help in school (helping in class, listening to children read, cooking, helping in the library or on the allotment).

The PTA is made mainly of parents whose children are in the school, grandparents and friends are also welcome. Safeguarding is of great importance to us so if you volunteer in school on a regular basis, you may be asked to undergo a DBS check.

This academic year the PTA have organised a Halloween Disco, Christmas Shop and disco, helped with the Macmillan Coffee Morning and the Easter Fair. Each year their fundraising pays for all the Y6 children a cinema treat after their SATs and a presentation gift at the Leaver's Service.

Some PTA members are active at committee level, organising events and delegating jobs, other members are willing helpers who turn up to help out at events. If you are interested in joining our very successful PTA, please contact the school office where staff will be happy to help you make contact with a member.
