'Posada' is an old Mexican tradition where figures of Mary and Joseph travel from house to house in the lead up to Christmas Eve.

Some families from our school and Maryport Infant School hosted the figures in the lead up to our Carol Service on 15th December.

In the Posada box, along with the figures, were a game, a candle and a prayer to share with all family members.

Once we returned the Posada to church, members of the congregation continued hosting the figures.
